Background: The current leader of the notorious criminal group, Akatsuki. He is an orphan named Nagato, who sees himself as God who shall bring an end to the meaningless killing and war between villages.
The Deal with him:This guy does have good intentions but the means of achieving his goal defines his character. Pain is quite and reserved. He mostly talks about ending war and gaining peace. And that could only be achieved and relished after suffering immense pain.
His abilities include a pair of rinnegan eyes and a Kage-level shape shifting techniques. His greatest feat is having six bodies with one mind and will, known as the Six Paths of Pain. Though sharing one mind, each of them has distinct abilities. It was later on discovered that the true Pain is not one of his six paths but might be somewhere controlling them like puppet or with mind-tampering jutsu. Thanks to Jiraiya!
